I hope you will be travelling by your own vehicle. It is convenient in your own vehicle rather than bus or train.



You can reach Matheran from Mumbai via Panvel - Chowk - Karjat - Neral (You need not go in Neral town, there is a left turn before Neral).



From Matheran you can reach Malshej Ghat via Karjat (left turn on the bridge before Karjat) You can ask for road to Murbad or Saralgaon. Saralgaon is on Kalyan Malshej Ghat Road. You have to take right turn to go to Malshej Ghat.



The road is shortest rout to Malshej ghat, but check up the condition of the road as I have not travelled on that road for last 1 year.

1. Mumbai-Airoli/Thane-Dombivli Shil Phata-Badlapur-Neral-Matheran- Karjat- Mhasa- Murbad- Malshej- Murbad- Kalyan- Mumbai.



2. Mumbai- Vashi- Neral- Matheran- Karjat- Mhasa- Murbad- Malshej- Murbad- Mhasa- Karjat- Chauk- Panvel- Mumbai.
