helloooo frnds i just wanted to knw some resonable places to hang on for outdoor picnic around mumbai for a family of 10 people at resonable rates,
please suugest some places where v can go and hang on......

Go to Arnala, a seaside village on Western Railway. Take a Virar bound local ( suburban ) train. Get down at Virar. Take a bus or auto to Arnala. It has several resorts to stay. One of the best place to be in could be Cbeach Resort. Good accomodation + hugh lawns + swimming pool + very very good food + nearby beach are the plus points for this resort. And transport to and fro anywhere in Mumbai is less time consuming and cheaper.



2.

Alibag city. Another beach destination. This is actually a weekend town for Mumbai people. Many options for accomodation and food available. Several spots could be visited around the town. Travel is bit time consuming whichever option you choose.



3.

Matheran, the hill station nearest to Mumbai. Take a Karjat bound train. Get down at Neral. Take a cab till Dasturi naka. Walk or take a horse ride to the centre of the hill station. Cool atmosphere is a plus point. Accomodation is pricey.



4.

Usual hill towns of Lonavala and Khandala.



There are few more points around but require a hike or trek or walk, hence am not suggesting.
